Democracy rules ok?
Report Date: 13th January, 2020 The outcome of Saturday’s Taiwanese presidential election was no great surprise. It reinforces the problems China and President Xi face when handling the twin thorns of Hong Kong and Taiwan. Official Chinese policy remains unification. But its previous approach of using a ‘one country, two systems’ to draw the country back together is in tatters.
