Sweden elections – all change
Report Date: 15th September, 2022 Following a surge in violent crime, Sweden has elected a new rightist government. This shift will impose stricter limits on immigration and strengthen Sweden’s determination to join NATO.
A large current account surplus and low levels of government debt should support the SEK. For now we remain neutral.
