The thought occurred to me

The thought occurred to me that it is very odd the way Covid has been evolving. The news abounds about new, more contagious, vaccine-resistant and potentially more deadly variants. Yet there is no trace of this in the R0 (the natural reinfection rate at which each Covid carrier infects healthy people, which is estimated at 2-3 or higher), daily infection rates or active cases. Only deaths continue to hover near the peak. Otherwise, things are getting better. It is too early for this to be caused by vaccinations. Only 1.7% of the world’s population have been jabbed. That brings me to the issue of saying how this changes asset allocation.
